![]() I'm not sure what are exact benefits, but hopefully we will see in near-future. ![]() If you say 'hugely exciting' - it seems great. (04-11-2023, 09:25 Wrote: Hello, Mixbus family! You can read the full press release here: I’m particularly excited for both brands and their customers, as they will all reap the benefits of our sharing of ideas with our SSL colleagues ” - Gary Thielman, President, Harrison Consoles This alliance provides Harrison a strong future with access to further manufacturing, knowledge in engineering, and expanding our access to new channels and partners which increases our potential to grow this wonderful business. “ Having been part of this business and the pro audio industry since the early 80’s, it feels very apt that we would find our natural home with Solid State Logic and Audiotonix. Thanks for your continuing support, and I look forward to your questions and comments via email, our forum, or our social media channels. Mixbus32C has an optimized signal flow with 12 stereo mix buses and a master bus, all featuring Tone controls, Compression, Sidechaining, and Analog Tape Saturation simulation Stereo Master Bus that features Tone controls, Analog Tape Saturation, K-meter, Stereo Correlation Meter, and Limiter. We are very excited about this opportunity to meet and surpass your expectations! bringing you all the sounds, workflows, and technologies that you've been asking for. With SSL's help, we will be able to deliver on the promises of our DAW platform. We look forward to serving you, our Mixbus community, with the same passion and pride we've displayed since Mixbus was launched. ![]() Harrison has joined SSL to make a super-group of pro-audio technology!Īs you may be aware, SSL are part of the Audiotonix family which also owns pro audio brands Allen & Heath, Calrec, DiGiCo, DiGiGrid, KLANG:technologies, Sound Devices and Slate Digital. I guarantee mixing on one of those 'feels like a real console' controllers + PT HD will give you better mixes than dumping stems into this puppy and tweaking those tiny EQ knobs with a mouse. We've got some HUGELY exciting news to share: Not to mention there's no stunning controller to mix in mixbus with like you get with Pro Tools (Icon D-Command/Control or S6). Just stick HEAT on if you're in ProTools (which works at the mix engine level similar to this and S1's console shaper) and some good modern plugs like BX_Console and IK Tape and stay in your preferred DAW for the whole thing. I did try it out once and was shocked by how awful the ergonomics/GUI and workflow was. I'm guessing thousands of other pros and semi pros will do the same. Mac OS: OS version: 64 Bit, 10. There is a free 'demo' version to see if Mixbus works with your setup. I'll stick with Pro Tools thanks which is already the single best audio editor and mixer on Earth when it comes to actual mixing and (audio) production. System Requirements Mixbus v8 and Mixbus32C v9 run on nearly any desktop or laptop computer running a 64 Bit version of Windows, Mac, or Linux. When enabled, Mixbus will send LTC from the LTC port. ![]() Linear Timecode (LTC) GeneratorEnable LTC Generator. ![]() Nice concept but it's chasing rainbows to think going from your main DAW just to mix in this is somehow going to make your mixes easier/better. This window controls Mixbus’ output of timecode (both LTC and MTC), MIDI Machine Control commands, and the MIDI beat clock. It would also have to actually be a *good* DAW to work in, which it isn't. ![]()
